The Train

Orginally this little train was purchased to give rides at Christams. Lately some have suggested we rent it during weddings for an added surprise to all the guests. What a great idea! Imagine seeing this little train pull up during the reception? Guests can ride to the river and around the downtown while it plays your favorite music. $150.00 for 2 hours. Holds 12 grownups. Shown here decorated for Cristmas.

Appetizer Spoons

I have loved these spoons ever since I saw them in a magazine. It wasn't until lately that I could purchase them. These spoons will hold speciality bite size appetizers or desserts such as chocolate bites. Place them on the buffet table or right next to the place setting at the table. Available for rent in our shop.

New Beauty Salon

The Riverfront Event Center is currently seeking stylists to fulfill our customers needs and desires. A new salon will be built in the old Fantles Salon location. The traffic generated by the Social Security office, tenants, numerous events and weddings will greatly help anyone interested and willing to work towards a successful business.
The Riverfront Event Center is a premier venue for weddings and receptions. We offer rentals with unique and creative ideas to enable our customer to secure their dreams of an incrediable event.
Those parties interested must have their finger on the future with a creative mind, while focusing still on the needs of all inhabitants of Yankton and the surrounding area.

How many decorating hours can I do:

Rule is when set up is completed you
can come in as many hours as you like
during normal business hours. We
Encourage you to stop by anytime after booking to try
out your table setting. We have many ideas
and rental items available. We are
always here to help.

What does setup constitute?

Setup is placing tables and chairs, head
tables, cake table, punch table and gift table
to your specifications.
Cleaning the floors and mopping. Placing
silverware, napkins and glasses on tables
It is not part of the 3 hours of decorating
provided in your package.
We have a variety of tables and setups to
choose from including all rounds, squares,
oblongs, banquet, pub tables, keg tables

3 hours of decorating

How we decorate is up to you. Some people
want us to help them with their decorations
Some want us to place rental items, some
want colored tulle in the ceiling, some
want us to decorate as we think they would
like it. It is up to you.
Many people come in many times before
their event to discuss ideas. Some people
email ideas. These emails and
discussions are not considered in any way
part of the decorating.

So Very Tall Vases

What a glorious feeling when sitting beneath these oh so tall vases.
Use them to build trees you can sit under, fill them with water to float candles, the ideas are endless.

They are available to rent in the coffee shop.

Party Favors

Party Favors unique, simple and oh so pretty.
Vanilla and Chocolate sandwich cookies are placed in cellophane packets then wrapped with a band of Japanese patterned paper, each has a sweet sentiment about marriage tucked inside.

Lite Up the Outside

I truly love creative and easy (very easy) ideas that make such a dramatic difference..
One of my favorite’s is outdoor lighting like this. A white lunch sack with a cut or 2 for a ribbon and poof, beautiful lighting. Or a maybe large vase with floating candles? Inexpensive and easy.
